weird blood rushing sensations

Hi all,
I have been experiencing this weird sensation in my left foot/ankle - it feels like I can feel the blood rushing through my veins and happens about every 4-7 seconds, its not painful but worrisome_ as all symptoms are once you have experienced extensive clotting with atypical symptoms. Any thoughts or ideas? My doctor( who I am changing) pretty much said he didnt know what it was and to give it a few days. I am on warfarin. All responses are so appreciated.

" Yes, several people have had the same sensation, including me. There's an old post regarding hot flushes if you want to read more...

For me it happens only in my ankle and foot on the DVT leg, feels like a hot flash or I suppose rushing blood is another way to describe it. I like to think it's my veins healing - my DVT leg looks remarkably good for the extent of my DVT, with only some puple mottling around the ankle. So far, I'm not experiencing PTS like others have (knock on wood - PTS can start up years after the fact).

So try to find that post - it was started by Peaches, and I had made it resurface a couple of months ago when I started feeling the same thing. It should put your mind at ease. "
