" Sometimes, anxiety can cause chest pain, but I think you should call your doctor. Don't mess around with chest pain, especially if you have a DVT. "

" Hi rmb,
I have an appointment with my doctor this Wednesday coming.
You maybe right it could be it could be anxiety because I have been very stressed just lately.
I did have a Echocardio gram a few months ago following some doggy ECGs they said I had water on my heart has a result of my DVT, they addmited me for 3 nights and discharged me.
They told me it wasn,t nothing to worry about and to just rest.
My consultant did say he would repeat the Echo in 6wks but I havent received any thing yet.
It also does worry me that I could be passing small clots.

" I get pain in the heart area too. It's not anxiety. It's real and I'm a very calm happy person normally. I was wondering if this was related to my DVT and I think it could be. It may be related to the change in blood flow that is due to blockages in the vein/arterial system. It couldbe small cots that broke off your massive DVT. A good hematologist or vascular surgeon could better shed light on any possible link and explain the mechanisms? I know mine were pretty lame Drs. And couldn't explain much to my questions. My chest pain flares after I eat which could be related to gerd too. But it's more pronounced since the DVT. "

My INR is like a yo-yo.
Because of this I have had my INR taken every week, some times twice aweek.
It has been any thing from 1.6 to 3.5 but last week it was 2.7 which is in my target range.
This Tues coming Im at my Warfarin clinc to have my INR tested again so fingers crossed. "

" HI all,
Last night I nearly passed out with a sharp pain in my chest that took my breath ,I thought I was a gonna,
I have just returned from Accident & emergency after spending nine hours there being checked out.
I had an ECG which was ok, They gave me a routine scan of my lungs and said they could not see any clots but Im quite sure I have passed one, but hes the Doctor and Im just the paitent.
They took my gases and bloods or should I say tried.
Well lets just say I feel like a pin cushion.
I had to wait for my blood results before they releasted me.

The doctor told me I have got slight pleuracy, another thing to add to my list .
Good news is my INR is 3.0
