I've got a sinus problem combined with a sore throat. What can I take that will not mess with my rat poison?

" I asked my Pharmacist and she said I could take any kind of cold medicine so I took Benalyn cough surup and ran out of that then I took Benalyn daytime tablets which really helped as well I was sucking on Strepsild extra, but at night I always used Niquil, full dose! I ended up after 10 days getting an antibiotic which seem to really help. It is day 14 now since my sore throat started and today is the first day with no sore throat and cough.....FINALLY! YAY! I should mention I am taking 8.5 mg of coumadin daily. The antibiotic did end up increasing my inr, but we just adjusted the dose and I'm back on track now. Hope this helps. Whenever you are unsure what you can take with your coumadin , just call a pharmacist. "

" Well you and my wife must have the same mindset! She called the pharmacist for me. I can take some Sudafed PE and Tylenol as long as it is not a lot. I just want something to get me to sleep. Thanks for the advice! "
