I'm 5'4", 110 lbs, pretty healthy. No real medical problems. Gave birth 2 years ago and been having problems ever since. Lately been admitted to the hospital on 2 occassions. Left chest pains, shortness of breath, severe left leg pains (mainly when resting or sitting) had a treadmill stress nuclear test in March normal. Just had a heart CT scan will get results tomorrow. Also had an echocardiogram which was normal. All my EKGs blood work chest xrays come back fine. My cardiologist doesnt think the leg pain is related to the chest pain, but no one has looked at my leg. I wear compression stockings round the clock, take beta blockers and baby aspirin. I refuse to take pain medication as I am not a fan of medicine. I do take a lot of natural supplements made my standard process. My leg hurts so bad. I have no discoloration or swelling. It comes and goes but has been a lot more frequent lately. I am not sure what step to take next. Not sure if this is a DVT or a nerve problem since it seems to be affecting my left leg. When I touch certain spots on my leg it really hurts. Can anyone advise me as to what to do? Thanks I am a mess

hi !
i have a great possibility for you. pelvic congestion syndrome. i have been sick just over two years and just got diagnosed through laproscopy and then a venography. it is most common in women who have had multiple pregnancies (but does not have to be! i am 24 and childless!). to learn more about it, join my group and i have a list of my symptoms. leg pain included. i have got hypotension from the pooling of blood in my pelvis. (pelvic congestion syndrome are varicosities). i have the hypotension from lack of blood flow to my upper body. and i also get chest and head / neck pains and weak limbs. the diagnostic test is a venography by an interventional radiologist. it is a dye injection CT. this is where i got my second diagnosis of the extent. doctors can be easy to shrug off certain links. ie- chest pain from your leg pain. and because pelvic congestion syndrome is not well known of i have had many ignorant docs, until i found the interventional radiologist who deals with this problem all the time. doctors are uner educated about certain conditions. please join my group - pelvic congestion syndrome and have a read, there is also a video and some posted links
