" Hiya,
It wont harm you to wear the stockings on both legs. One of my legs are continuesly more swollen than the other and I wear compression stockings on both as I feel more comfortable like that. So whatever you feel more comfortable with yourself really. "

" hi Karl,
i would really strongly advise that you wear the pair (after all it wont do you any harm)
im a 27 year old girlie girl who works in fashion, i had my vicarious veins done in april of this year and truly hated wearing compression stockings. but did so for the required lenght of time. i was never so happy as when i was allowed remove them. however in sept i suffered from a dvt in my right leg. following surgery to remove the clot i has told to start wearing the compression stockings once a again. to say the least i was very unimpressed. when i made this known to hospital staff i was told "wear then both or get another clot". that was simply enough for me, i have now grown to love my stockings and wont go far without the!!! hope this helps "

" I was advised by the hospital DVT clinic that I must wear the stockings on both legs. They din't expand on this but I guess(just my own opinion) that if you only wear the stocking on your DVT leg there is a chance that the good leg could be affected by the change of pressure in the good leg.

It is a pain in the derriere to have to wear them at all but you do tend to get used to them. They were very uncomfortable in the heat of August but not so bad now the cold weather is setting in again.

I have to wear mind for another three months yet but I will be pleased when I can hang them up again. "
