It is so frustrating. I try so hard to do the right things, to be supportive both emotionally and physically, and it seems no mater what I do, it's wrong. I often feel that just my presence causes problems. I try so hard to not let my depression show but it seems to creep out regardless. I just don't know what to do.

My doctor sent me to a hemotologist to see if I have a blood deficiency that would be the cause of the DVT in my leg. I went to see him today and all my blood work came out ok. He said that the Protein S and C were slightly low, but that it is normal for them to do that when you are taking Coumaden. THE BEACON LIGHT

Just as the ship that breaks the waves through a cold and windswept night,
The jagged reefs and shoals we brave in search of the Beacon light.
From the bow and from the crows nest, through the fog and through the gales,
At the rudder I can take no rest as the weather attacks our sails.
My hands grip tight the wooden wheel, my knees now weak and shaking,

i thought really hard today
about how i would react

I have posted a few of my poems to a forum but it either doesn't accept it or it vanishes in a day or so. I guess that's not a good idea even though writing them seems to help me with the depression that comes with my illness and the pain.

The bad poetry has helped me deal with the pain and the depression in the past.
Perhaps it will work again. I just know there has to be something that will help me to deal with the pain and depression.
