I use Vancomycin everytime I go into the hospital due to MRSA, ( now they call it ORSA). I have to use 50mg IV Benadryl right before my IV Vanco due to Redman's syndrome. I itch from head to toe (and I do mean everywhere in between!) if i don't use the Benadryl.
