i made a goal last year to not feel so lost when the 1 year anniversary came around... i've made no progress towards that goal.

That actually doesn't sound very positive. Benjamin had a hospitalization for 13 days in November, and he really made a huge improvement. He's been doing pretty well. I never would have guessed that he could survive if someone told me the medical facts that exist, but that kid is tough and determined.
