Morning :)
I have UC, diagnosed in Aug. 09 and I am to start taking 6MP tomorrow. This drug scares the heck out of me. Both of my Drs. (Primary & Gastro) want this to get me off the predisone. None of the anti-inflammatory worked, so into the next category. Just wondering who is taking it and how is it going for you? Hi Hi just a probably early update but I have been taking 6MP for 10 days now and all is well :) I have no clue how long it takes to get side affects from it... Started it Nov. 1st. I don't see gastro dr. till Nov. 30 so i don't know when he will start my taper off prednisone...soon I hope! I know this drugs takes months for me to get full benefits. So, keep your fingers crossed for me. I am keeping the most positive attitude, I really really think this helps!!! Thanks everyone!

Hi Dawn! Just wanted to tell you that when I was on 6MP, it took about 1-1 1/2 months to really kick in for me. Good luck and hang in there!
