Have any of you had any negative experience with taking Entocort? I was on it but felt pretty bad while taking it. I'm not sure if this was because I was still flaring, side effects from Entocort or both. I am pretty sure my GI will restart Entocort when I finish my current round of prednisone. I'm curious about your experiences.

not sure what kind of negative problems you are talking about but I did have side effects related to the steroids in the drugs. These were similar to when I was on oral steroids. I was particularly sensitive to the steroids and many people do not get enough systemic antibiotics from the entocort to really cause a problem.

I have done very well on Entocort have been on this med for 4yrs. Have been on all of the classifications of meds at one time or another however the last which was Remicade had severe reaction. Entocort was the only one that was left other then full Prednisone. I have had no problems and am checked with labs, bone density etc. regularly. My GI doc not thrilled I am on this and seems to manage things. I am incorporating other alternative things as well to keep these disease under control. Hope this helps

I could not tolerate entocort. Got very dizzy, affected vision, spacey. MMy doctor didn't believe me. I did not take it and I am following up with diet and natural supplements. It'b been a year and I am better from uc. I have always been sensitive to drugs. Everyone is different with what helps and what they can tolerate
