high in soluble fibre ?

Hi i have now been told to continue a high in soluble fibre diet, Anyone got any advice ?

I bought a bottle of psyllium husk 1000mg is this the right thing to add in , i know i also have to add other things into my diet too thanks x

" It helped me with loose stools. However, dont get carried away or your stools will get too big and it will put pressure on your colon and stomach. Also, drink lots of extra water because it soaks up water and can dehydrate you. I too too much a few times and my stomach got huge.

But yes, soft highly soluble fiber is good. Its the insoluble roughage that is bad for you. "

" Its good for loose stools and for constipation. It has a consistency that is medium. Its bulking by sucking up water, but its softer and more malleable than hard stools when you are constipated. It helps with either extreme. "
