" Hi
I know you have probably tried a lot of meds and other strategies without success. Have you been reading any of the posts re: David Klein's book and the vegan way. I have been on it 2 weeks now and have noticed a big improvement. If you want more info let me know.

" I understand. I really do. I'm in the same place.
I've got CD, painful - really painful - knees, hands and toes. I don't know how I get up the road to the bus stop, let alone do my work. So tired, so difficult to concentrate. No energy, and in a flare at the moment.
And the can't stop crying thing - I'm with you there too. I go home and pour my heart and eyes out every evening.
I'm on antidepresants which just aren't working, and Pentasa which just isn't working either.

Just remind yourself that this really is difficult. Having a chronic, ongoing illness is tiring and upsetting and you're *allowed* to be upset about it, ok?
*hugs* It can seem that no-one 'out there' understands, but I reckon you'll find that 'us here' on DS know pretty much how you're feeling.

" Hang in there. Try to take a proactive approach to the problem. Somehow, when you are concentrating on making things easier on yourself and making yourself better, you don't feel the pain as bad. Maybe it's because you know that eventually something you do will work. Can you work less hours a day for more days? Can you get a copy of the profs lecture and read it in bed with your legs up rather than going to class? Does soaking in a warm tub with epsom salts help? And don't ever let the fact that the people around you don't understand. They aren't in the same situation, so they can't understand, although some wonderful people do try to. But in the end it's not other people who will get you through this. You will do it and you can. "

" First, if you possibly can, TAKE A BREAK. 3 or 4 days now won't ruin everything. You need a REST and some perspective. If you can, go to bed and sleep, sleep, sleep.
Secondly, I've dealt with the same feelings you have for 26 years - it can be done and there WILL be wonderful times amongst the misery. I've travelled across US coast to coast on the back of a motorcycle (Route 66), I've got married in Vegas, I've passed a degree, I've had kids and I have a husband that adores me. Yes, I was sick for most of the above, but somehow we manage.
Third. PAMPER YOURSELF WHENEVER YOU CAN. Go to bed with a movie, make your favourite food and eat it (If you can!!!), go shopping and buy something really nice (I've bought diamonds every time I've had surgery - we find the money to pay bills, sometimes we have to find the money to do nice things) take a weekend break to Europe (or even a nice little B&B in the next state.)
Finally, learn to never say I CAN'T. You can and you will and we will be here to listen, support you and we all understand because we've been there. Be nice to yourself.
You will need to be extra nice to yourself to get through, to get endorphines flowing against the flow of pain and symptoms.
PLEASE take that rest. You can't always be superwoman. I promise it will make you feel better. "

" If you can't do it tomorrow, there will be other times, other chances.
The longer I've had crohn's, the more I've realised that sometimes life sends other opportunities or things happen for a reason.
Good luck. You CAN do it. "

" Agh i am having such an off night. =/ I'm currently working part-time after my job cut me down from being full time. i'm dealing w/ the stress of not making as much $ & the health insurance is such a hassle. Having an autoimmune disease can be such a bummer (no pun intended) & I hate feeling like a charity case!

It sucks we can't live normal lives like most. The majority of people are not in our shoes & don't have to deal with the situations we do. I've been trying to go back to school for 1yr now & every time i'm about too i feel like i just get beat back down. Grrrr "

" Hi ,
Really sorry to hear about your symptoms....7 months back was diagnosed with UC ...symptoms same as yours with strong bleeding..yes was on meds(helped somewhat ) ...tried alternatives ... didnt help....than came across the book squasher describes....TOTALLY CURED MY UC...have posted a great deal on this ...read UNBIASED reviews on Amazon UK(mine is ...indi) ...and the many on Amazon.com.....

http://www.amazon.co.uk/exec/obidos/ASIN/9717526346/ref=ox_ya_oh_product

Following book ...devised specific routine ...which brought relief very quickly...last.2 months... total remiision ...and no meds...just message me and will gladly send to you....

Many are resigned to believe doctors are correct and UC is not curable....TOTAL GARBAGE!!!....

Just requires a disciplined approach and outcome will be amazing!!

Take care..... "
