Marinol- The pill form of Marijuana, or synthetic THC. While not as immediate as smoked marijuana I found that it lasts longer with the added benefit of having direct contact with your digestive tract where I imagine it helps with inflamation. This has not been substantiated however. Helps greatly with appetite, pain, and makes my mood generally better (yes it can make you high). Has a host of other benefits. Have not as yet experienced side effects. It does build in my system over time and seems to be getting stronger everyday.

" I (and many other mecical cannabis patients) have found that Marinol doesn't work as well as nature's cannabis. Various studies have shown that there are several other active cannabinaoids in the plant other than THC. There are particular strains of cannabis that are better at relieving specific symptoms. If you have good relief from Marinol, it may be better from cannabis (as you noted Marinol is intoxicating) with less intoxication. Cannabis edibles last many hours longer than inhalation methods and are GREAT for body pain and appetite. It's state-legal where you live, and since you already have a prescription for Marinol, you are protected from drug-test discrimination to a certain degree. "
