My father died from "Sporadic" CJD about 2 months ago. The person who gets this disease must have a specific set of genetic markers and something must trigger the disease. It is currently not know what triggers the progression of CJD. I'm looking to talk to people who knows someone who had CJD in order to discover if any similarities in their lifestyle, eating habits, and occupations exist.

I am so sorry for your loss, and the experience I am sure was the hardest of your life.
My father passed away from spordic CJD about 18 months ago. I would be honored to share our Dad's experiences with one another. Jenn
