My cardiologist ordered this test along with my lipid profile. Does anyone know anything about this? It has something to do with diabetes, but what does that have to do with a cardiac blood workup?

" Kinda late with this, but yes it is to see how high your sugars have been the last three month or how normal. Just like getting cholesterol taken. He may have had reason to think you may be diabetic. "
