I had a stent put in on Thursday. I have no clue what to expect. I thought I'd jump on the table and do cartwheels. I still have a lot of bruising and it pinches and is still a little sore. Does your energy come back immediately? Are you "back to new" in a few days? The cardiologist told me I can go back to work on Wednesday. I have a sit down job. They used that plug I see some talking about. I have been advised to go to cardiac rehab, but they told me I can't start for at least 2 weeks. I'm 52. Already have diastolic dsyfunction, but was feeling pretty good up until about 3 weeks ago.

do the rehab, and continue after rehab is dione, and u will make some good friends and good support.. your emotions will be allover the place.. good to have u here. dinz

You will start to feel better in another couple weeks--its not an overnite sensation:):)
Do the rehab it gets you moving and u will feel better for having done it! Good luck I myself have 3 stents in the LAD..

Thursday was 2 weeks and you are right. I'm starting to feel a little better day by day. I go for my 2 week check-up today with my cardiologist.
