I had CABG X4 in Aug of 08 and the scar area along chest is very sore and feels as though it is not healing. Very tender and very annoying. Can anyone relate to this? Doc says nothing to worry about, easy for him to say. This really increases my anxiety level.

" oh yes where they cracked the chest open you bet ya i had a triple bypass 1 yr ago so much of the scar is down but rest of it isnt and at times it feels realy tight like they just stiched it or your gonna tear it open and yes it hurts some days but itches more i finaly put some moisturerizing cream on it and it helps the itching but not the soreness but it is getting lesser i know someone on here had it done 3yrs ago and hers still hurts from time to time so the best to you let me know how your doing "

" Thanks..Your situation sounds exactly like mine. Your right the itching is quite annoying and somedays feels like I had the surgery 2 days ago not 9 months.
