Hi- I have my test scheduled next Wed. I'm a bit nervous since the scheduler told me that after they inject the isotope, that I will have pain as if I were having a heart attack.

I will not be doing a treadmill or bike since I have an ankle injury.

Please answer- I'm a bit scared and normally tests don't bother me at all!

" Its nothing to worrie about theres a team of Nurses and Drs right there only annoying feeling? is when your heart rate increase's and? that pain they told you about ( as they told me) might not even accure because i had the same thing done i had no Pain , its just a far warning ( pending how your Body reacts to it ) but dont go getting your anxiety in a up roar!! " They will take good care of you. Try not to be afraid. Mine made me feel very hot inside and afterwards I vowed NEVER to do the chemical stress test again. I would prefer the walking test but I realize with your ankle injury you had no choice. Try not to worry. Worrying solves nothing and whatever you're worried about probably won't come true. "

" I didnt have that problem tho I was highly allergic to the chemical... I cannot do the treadmill due to my Multiple Sclerosis & I am not very mobile.

I doubt you will have trouble & if you do the Drs will be right there with you... no worries. "

" I had the same test about 3 weeks ago and the pain was more like a headache for me. They are able to give you something that reverses the pain. I would say i had pain for no more the 5 minutes. "
