I don't post here very often I just wanted to say that Friday the 29th I am going in for stent placement in the least occluded artery. I have three occlusions two are over 95% with 30% heart function. The bypass they were talking is permanently off the table, I had that feeling after the thoracic surgeon in 2004 said I did not have enough viable tissue and my heart would not stand the blood flow that would occur, The reason I did the tests was hope and to make sure that after 4 years my condition did not improve. I had another heart cath along with a viability study close to a month ago. Now the stent placement. I have a lot of faith in my cardiologist and the entire staff that work with him, he is a member of a group that is known throughout the states, that makes me feel better.
I will check in later to let you know how it went. Posted on 08/26/08, 09:08 pm |

I am sending good thoughts, big prayers, and lots of love to you. I know your stent placement will go smoothly and it sounds like your doctor and his team are excellent.
Please let us know how you are recovering. I will be away from my computer over the holiday weekend...but I am sure you will be recovering nicely. Blessings~ Desiree

I am back home from the hospital, all went well and I am feeling a little woozy from all the drugs but more energy than before. I cannot sit long due to the pressure bandage and they don't want me to be in a position that may compromise the artery. So I will talk to you all later, thanks for the hugs support and thoughts.
Be at peace and balance Lee

If you are employed take as much time as you need before returning to work. If you feel the need to return as soon as possible, ask yourself, "what is so important, at work, that I am willing to die for?"
In the mean time I send you good vibrations. Mushroom

Every day is a bit better, I can feel stronger and more alert, my meds did change from Topril xr to coreg. Yesterday I removed the pressure bandage showered (that felt wonderful) I noticed a small bruise but I bruise easily and when they removed the cath a lot of pressure was placed where the bruise is located, no donuts or any other hard knots no swelling either. I think to that the coreg is better than the Topril. I do have more energy every day, just taking it easy and allowing my body to adjust.
