Hi I had Trible by-pass in Jan o7 on a emergency, didn't even know I had heart problems. Dr. kept saying it was a pulled muscle. Anyway it saved my life. But I never got better kept complaining, to make a long story short I keep plugging up. 5 stints since my surgery. I haven't had a heart attact. I've did what I'm suspose to exerice eat right blah blah blah. I was back to work in less then 6 wks. Folk I keep my Dr. appointments take my meds including depression ones. Do all of this for my kids and husband but I am so sick and tired of all this crap. I want to feel good, and I don't.. I know that having to go back and have another stent reamed out is no big deal but I don't want to do it. I know I sound like a 2 year old. I am 61. LOL just darn sick and tired of all this crap. Lucky Lady now isn't that a nice name LOL

" Hi everyone. It's been a long time. Last time I reported I said it was a virus that had settled in my chest. Well it wasn't. I knew better. Went in and had two stents removed. Dr. put 2 longer and newer stents in that were coated with plavix. It didn't hurt put was on the table for 4 hours was awful and I completely crashed with depression afterwards. But thanks to a good Medical Dr. she kept me going. It took a few months but the heavyness in my chest is gone and this Dr also open a artrie that the other Dr refused to touch. I still fight depression and aniexty but my heart is better. Thanks everyone and lets keep in touch. LL "

" I think we know our bodies better then they do. If I had lefdt it up to my Docs I would probably be dead. I was to young, then I was just under to much stress, now I am older and they say it is just tension, your stress is fine...
No, it it is pain in my chest and I hate it, your stress test is wrong. I was right they were wrong again...I mean you begin to doubt after awhile.
I have 3 stents now and I still feel crappy.
How do they take a stent out??? "

" LL, I'm glad to hear that you're doing much better! And I agree, doctors very often don't know nearly as much about our bodies as we do. Thank goodness there's more than one doc, eh?

My dad, 60, had 2 stents put in this February for a 75% blockage - and he has since been religious about doing cardiac rehab exercises every day and eating only the "right" stuff. He was laid off from his job in May, but if he's depressed about anything at all, he shows no signs of it. I think that this daily exercise makes all the difference. I'm 30, and live at 7200 feet and consider myself to be in pretty good shape, but when he was here visiting a week ago, he wore ME out! I think that gave him a little boost, too. ;)

At any rate, have you talked to your docs about rehabilitative exercises? I know that I personally feel a lot better and can deal with my own depression much better if I'm exercising regularly. Doesn't have to be anything spectacular either as long as it's something.

I wish you wellness and happiness. :) "
