Congenital Heart Disease Support Group

If you would like to hook up with others dealing with chd, you have a couple of options. I would contact the American Heart Association in your area and ask them about local chd support groups. One of the larger national support groups is Little Hearts. If you Google that, you should find a link to the site. I know that they have teens with chd and they may be able to put you in contact with them.
Another source online is Care Pages. This is a free online support network kind of like face book where you can set up your pages and keep track of each other.
The oldest chd person I know right now is Brit, who is ten. She probably could hook you up with others. Most of the people that I know are in the Midwest and Patients at the University of Michigan Motts Children's Hospital Pediatric Cardiovascular Surgery dept. If you would like, I will try to do some "introductions". Most of us are parents or grandparents of younger kids.
