Hello If it is what I am thinking it is they are putting the a stent in the aortic arch a very simple procudure these days. I had this done in December of 2006 and i was out of the hospital the next day :D So dont be stressed. I was born with heart problems and going into nursing for school so any questions go ahead and ask

It turns out that it is not that simple...I wish it was. She's actually having open heart surgery to replace the aortic valve. It's going to happen in two weeks. I'm scared!

my 8 year old is having balloon aortic valvuloplasty for same problem
He will eventually need replacement valve They might do Ross technique if things go wrong What is the name of the procedure Have you checked the hospital & doctor's credentials? Pubmed website has medical articles on this. You can even put in the cardiologist's name to see if he's done recent research This is what I'm doing at 2:30 am I hate aortic stenosis Please let me know your experience someday we will be walking down your path
