does anyone out there have the same problem as me and if so what have you had done?
in nov. 2007 i had afib, then an echo and an mri, i was told i that my heart 1 side was dilated and i had an hole in the septum at this point they are not sure if its an asd or an vsd still awating a tee to deermin where he hole is located, since the quite suddenly i have also been diagnosed with oseoarthritis of the knees and maybe off the hip, i will know within the next few days after a hip xray, could there be a connection of some kind to do with the hole in the heart i am only 55 and i feel 75 take care Carroll Posted on 06/16/08, 10:06 am |

I had ASD and it was repaired as a child, I do have arthritis in my left knee but the doc's atribute that to all my cartilage being removed. The hole in your heart will definatly make you feel a lot weeker and older because your heart blood pumping efficiency is down. Please feel free to contact me as I still fight problems associated with the CHD

I had an ASD corrected at the age of 9 and I ma now 24. I havent had much problems apart from anaemia and low blood pressure. I am scared for mu future tho, cuz I want to give birth to healthy babies. I have been more worried since my sister's child has now been doagnose with hole in the heart, eb]=ven tho weve been reassured that it wouldnt need surgery.
