Articles on CVID

I've written two articles on CVID, one somewhat academic on diagnosis and treatment, the other on living with the disease.

Until publishing these I hadn't written anything personal for awhile, at least since I was a patient advocate for Lyme disease and CVID in the 90s. I burned out and for a time improved health-wise.

So I came out again per se that I'm human and live with a disability. I hope the material is useful as CVID info can be difficult to find.

" This was very good info. I was just dxd with this 3 months ago and many of the symptoms of treatment are all things I've experienced. thanks! "

" Thank you kindly for the comments and I hope to contribute more support and information here soon as well as become better acquainted with other patients.

Admittedly I've had some downtime and playing catchup on my work. Not yet a bundle of energy, I'm still under diagnostic process.

I will say that I was most surprised to find my IVIG treatment was billed at 11K rather than 3-4K as it had before. If this is common then the situation of treatment and insurance coverage is much worse now than ever.

I wish you all Happy Holidays and big hugs of support. "
