Do it how ever you feel comterable. When I did it, me, my sister, mom and dad were having dinner. my sister and me had it all planned out. she said "so guess whos seriously gay", and i said "its me". It was kind of funny which took away some of the akwardness, it also really helped that my sister was there and really supporting me. The only downside was they thought it was a joke for like ten minutes before we convinced them it wasnt, so if your mom didnt beleive you the first time this might not be the best way to do it the second time. But whatever you decide good luck and im sure you can do it :)
