How are you doing guys? Our forum is kinda quiet. I hope everyone is just enjoying their lives, doing great things.
So how's everyone? I am working hard, plus being a soccer mom. Nothing new health-wise (good or bad). Well my neuropathy is getting better. I can tie my shoes now! I know Diane is doing good, I read your posts Diane but don't have any real time to answer (my husband and my son always occupy computer , I have only 5 min here and there). Anyone knows how's Kadija doing? She had several tirps to the hospital, I hope she is doing better now. Anyone heard from her? Mark how are you doing? I am thinking about you and sending good vibes your way. GG is everything going ok? Pretty I hope you are busy and feeling great and your neuropathy is just gone. Irish I hope everything improves in your life and becomes better and better. Gr8, NAT, Survivor, Coogie how's life treating you? I am sure I forgot some names (I picture your avatars, but names escaped me). Please forgive me, my memory has not fully returned to me after chemo. How are you guys? Have a great day guys!!! still absolutely fine, no symptoms, need to chase the specialist next week, seems the info sent to him was delayed by the postal strikes so they haven't had much time to check the data, but I'm going to chase them next week in case they have sent something in the post

Russian... Aren't you sweet to ask! Glad to hear you're doing well.
I'm doing well. House bound with my little one who has the flu. But, I m fine and neuropathy is present in my feeties but not complaining. Colon has fits and also, livable. Looking forward to everyone's updates. : )

Hi Russian (and everyone else too)
You're right, it has been rather quiet on the boards lately. I am ok. Just finished infusion #9 and for some reason the fatigue has been much more pronounced this cycle. I usually crash into bed around 6:30 p.m. these days, and my onc. told me to avoid public places because the WBCs are so low. But I am really happy I am getting close to the end of chemo!!!!!!!!!

Hi all and a nice post Russian, I too look forward to the update from people, I try to send hugs to many that have not heard from but do not always get replies, have left several with Kardija but no answer.
This dopey old bloke is off for a CT scan today is not 2 years since I had the gauci bag removed so just a check up. My life has become busier and here I was thinking when you get to my age life slowed down lol. Anyways I too am looking forward to the updates and I too will keep my those on my prayer list in my prayers. G8

Doing good here. Lots of prayers for Kads family today. I've had a little nausea the past week, and as usual it worries you sometimes. But been to the Doc and it's just a viral infection. Other than that back training at the dojang nightly and feeling great.
Coming up for next set of tests on the 25th. The neuropathy improved in the fingers, but not so much in the feet, but it's heading into Spring/summer which helps. Oh I'm a Taxi Mum too lol

I guess I have hesitated to post because i did not get good news. My cat Scan showed nothing 2 weeks later during a colonoscopy they found another mass in my lower colon. It is cancer. I am now going to have a untra sound on the 18th to determine if it is colon or rectal cancer. I feel like I'm back to square one. I do have a new set of doctors and my surgeons specilaty is colon and rectal. I will be staying home in Mo for any treatment. I have a great support team here as I did in NE. but their is no place like home. I'm working 2 days a week at Curves and enjoying each day ( we are having beautiful weather) trying not to think of what is ahead. I'm still positive but I have put it in Gods hands.

Good morning,
I do not get to spend very much time on the puter but thought your message was very nice. Then again, everyone in this group is nice. I am now almost 4 years out from diagnosis, surgeries, treatments and all those scans. Seems everything is looking clean. Whew! It is always worrysome. Guess, we just get on with our lives at some point. I do read the messages quite often and catch up on how all is doing. My thoughts are with everyone and just keep putting one foot in front of the other...there is a light at the end of that tunnel. Happy Holidays to all, Pat

I'm so sorry to hear about that, Sunny.
I'm feeling great, working hard and also working out hard at the gym. Being "only" Stage 1, and having survived a different deadly (Stage 3) cancer 13 years ago, the hardest thing for me has been adapting to the reality of living with my "Lynch Syndrome" cancer gene. Between now and January, I will get screened for 4 different cancers! I try not to think about it. Life is precious, and I need to enjoy it now.
