Busy, Busy, Busy! :o)
Tomorrow is my first day of Mentoring. I'm going to be mentoring a 5th and a 7th grade girl once a week for a total of half a day. I'll join my hubby for lunch before my tutoring begins. Last night I went out to dinner with 6 ladies from our church and was out laughing and chatting for 3 hours. One of the ladies is a young breast cancer survivor (7 years now) but cancer was never mentioned. Sunday after lunch, Jim and I went to the next town and walked the mall, window shopping and exercising, a Pottery Barn and Joanne's Fabrics. I kept the car on Tuesday and got a haircut, took Nick for a haircut, went to the tailor's, the dry cleaners, bank, post office, a consignment shop. This afternoon I'm going out shopping for a granddaughter's birthday present. Friday Jim and I are taking Nick and his girlfriend on a date. We're taking them to a bowling alley that has a big game area with Laser Tag, Bumper Cars, etc. We'll eat in the restaurant while they play their games. Saturday is our church's Trunk or Treat and we're setting up with over 50 more families to hand out candy. We do this every year and last year gave out over 3,000 pieces of candy!
