Hi there! I'm new here. I was diagnosed late last month and had surgery to remove what they couldn't get though the scope. I spent three more weeks after surgery in the hospital due to complications after, infections, etc. They say they caught it early and no further treatments are necessary unless it returns. I just need to have colonoscopy in six months to a year to check for any new signs.
I also suffer from Gastropheresis, unable to digest food so I'm on a very bland diet waiting to get in to see a specialist about a possible pacemaker for the stomach to move the food through the stomach. Also a pseudotumor where I had a shunt placed to drain the cerbral spinal fluid of the brain this summer. Liz Posted on 10/22/09, 04:10 pm |
