I had my last "2 month" ct and labs Monday. Visited with my Oncologist this morning and all is well! Said that he was very pleased and that I need not come back for 4 months, and just for labs. I expressed concern about having so many PET and CT scans and the effects of too much exposure to radiation. He said that it was indeed a justified concern. So, if the CEA's are good and I keep on feeling as well as I have, no need for ct's for awhile. YAY!!!

" Oh that is great news Survivor. WHoooooo. I know how it felt with my first set of tests. Due back in Nov/Dec, I forgot lol. That's an interesting point about effects of too many scans. I'd never thought about that before. Phew, rest that weary mind now yeah. :} "

" Hi S2, Great news !!! I am one month done with chemo, feeling better each day. I see my Dr tomorrow for my one month checkup (had blood work done yesterday, everything looks good) I have not had even one CT or PET scan and will not have one, I'm not sure why, I think they told me scans weren't necessary or something like that ???? go figure ??? I think I might have had one while I was in the hospital for surgery. Maybe I will ask again why they don't do scans when I see my Dr. tomorrow. Glad you are doing good. "Onward we go". "
