Need to lose weight post chemo

I've been off chemo for 41 days now and have managed to lose 2 lbs. I'd gained 9lbs during chemo, probably from force feeding myself loads of foods high in potassium.

I don't have the energy yet for aerobics or any strenuous exercise and diet alone doesn't seem to be doing a darn thing.

Anyone else wanting to lose a few pounds post chemo? What if we post everything we ate each day and act as each others accountability partners?

My name is Diane and I want to lose 10 lbs.

" I'm still eating healthy and have now lost 5 lbs. :o)

I'm able to walk again. I do have a wobbly spell once in a while if I stop suddenly and stand still. It feels like I'm walking on wet sand but I can deal with the neuropathy. "

" I m going to go back to WW (Weight Watchers) I have terrible stomach aches lately... but I need a check in with my old WW gals. I also need to write down every bit that goes in... having to feed a 12 year old and working out of the house presents a lot of easy, cruise the kitchen between phone calls and e mails, distractions. arrrggg..

Glad you are doing so well.

I m really bugged by my neuropathy. By the end of a busy day, my feet are on fire, and sore and red and swollen. I m very impatient with this whole cancer/chemo healing process... "

" So glad to hear you guys are doing so good. I am also. I'm back to eating organic (no junk) and exercising a lot and walking a lot. My energy level is still a little low, still have my chemo brain and still have neuropathy, but its not too bad. I'm going out shopping, eating lunch with friends, Bible studies (2 groups), dinner with hubby. My grandkids came for a visit last week and I was very active with them. There is life after cancer & chemo.
Pretty colon, could it be the shoes you wear that are making the neuropathy bad for you???
