I ll be thinking of you today. I cried through most of my first treatment day. The nurses were very sweet and patient with all of my fears and questions. Remember to breath every so often. We are so blessed to have these treatments. They work for so many people... I feel like this is an investment in the future. Best of luck to you.
It is my daughters 12th birthday today...I m here to celebrate! That is somethin!

Well, all in all I have to say it wasn't too terrible. They did have to stop the oxi drip for about 20 mins because my arm cramped up something horrible. They wrapped it up in heat wraps and I was able to finish. They are pushing to get a port in before my next treatment - I have already had 3 in the past and really didn't want to get another one until I felt that pain in my arm! I don't start my first round of Xeloda until Wednesday.

All in all I am holding up pretty well. My arm still hurts and it feels like I have a headache in my eyes (if that makes any sense).

Thank you all for kind words of encouragement, it really helps ALOT.
