You have my support and prayers, I will be right with you as I get mine on Tuesday and my anxiety is high as well. I just keep telling myself better chemo than cancer, I know it doesn't chase the anxiety all the way but it helps somewhat. I wish mine were tomorrow so I can get it done with, the longer I have to wait the more the anxiety.

Kadija, you are on oxi and xel correct? How well have you tolerated these treatments?

My side effects were for the first couple of days following chemo, I am on those two drugs and have had 2 so far and going for my 3rd on Tuesday. I experience sensitivity to cold temperature and fatigue, nausea and lack of appetite. Nausea pills helped a lot as did taking a lot of naps till I got better.

Deb and Kadija, I hope it goes well for you with no or minimal side effects. I am trying to keep fear at bay by grounding myself in the present moment. (What can I feel see hear right now). Otherwise, if the next treatment is as bad as I expect then I've lived it over and over again instead of once, and if it is not as bad as I expect, then I've tortured myself for nothing. Kadi, I like your saying better chemo than cancer and will try to remember it. Love and blessings to you both.
