Every holiday RUINED

Well, I had my first symptoms at Thanksgiving and was sick on Christmas. I had my visit with the gastro on New Years Eve and got my colonoscopy and dx on Jan. 2nd. My birthday was in the middle of those days.

NOW.... every holiday has been right after disconnect. Valentine's Day, Easter, Mother's Day, Father's Day and now 4th of July.

I dread tomorrow's chemo but want to be DONE! Four more, counting tomorrow, but I'm dreading it so much.........

Do you dread each treatment? I had one friend say she was anxious to have each treatment because she knew it was killing any roaming cancer cells but I think I just worry about my side effects and dread feeling so tired for 3 or 4 days (or more).

" Well, guys, this tx didn't bother me at all like my 8th did! I did feel a bit tired the day after tx, but they had doped me up on Benadryl, Ativan and huge doses of steroids to prevent and reactions.

Here it is, Friday morning, 12 after disconnect and I feel really good. I did nap for about an hour after disconnect, but did housework, watered my flowerbeds and played with the dog. As far as neuropathy, mine is not bad at all. I'm still knitting every day and only have cold sensitivity for a day or so.

Happy Holiday!
