Anyone have avastin as part of their treatment regimen? I had the 5 fu, oxplaitin combo. Finished chemo in June--only received 11 treatments---and everything I have read says that avastin stays in your system for longer than other drugs. Just wondering if anyone has had any side effects during or post treatment with avastin? God bless all of you...

" Hi, I have only had two sessions of Avastin this round and already I have had one of my arms go numb and it continuously feels as though it has pins and needles in it. I have had Avastin before as part of a clinical trial and I had a lot of trouble with very sore feet and hands, apart from that however, it did a LOT more good than harm and is this time as well. When I say I have only had two rounds of Avastin, I had my CT Scan and already it shows shrinkage of tumors so it is well worth any side affects I am suffering to be honest. My honest advice is to stick with it if you can, it has really helped me in the past and is helping me again, however, I realize everyone is different. Talk to your Oncologist if you have any worries. Take Care. Jen . "
