i read up on this and i think it the hemoglobin

So my friend said she was diagnosed with being anemic sometime ago. Were others that were diagnosed with colon cancer diagnosed as being anemic too?

yes that is a sign also, i had alot of blood work takin because i have the symptoms of colon cancer, your friend really needs to go to the doctors to have blood work, she needs to tell them about all of her symptoms and not leave without answers,

The crazy thing is is she went to the docs the other day and he said "you had a colonoscopy five years ago so you should be fine". Really? So cancer can't occur over five years! Sounds like its time for her to find a new doc.

exactly.... i went to the er cause for 4 days i couldnt git out of bed and i told him i thought i had colon cancer and all he could say is that i am too young psshhhhhh . good luck to your friend tell your friend to push and not be bullied by the docs k
