Iwas diagnosed with bowel cancer in 1995 and had half my bowel removed. since then I have had problems with fequency, diarrhoea, and also not `knowing` when I need to `go`. I have tried taking Imodium and that makes me feel dizzy and Ill, and just by taking half a teaspoon too much makes me constipated, which in turn makes me feel unwell. just wanted to know if any-one else has these problems and how do they cope?

" I've had some problems, the main things I have found are that I tend to get diarrhoea after exercise, exercise stimulates the bowel so things pass through quicker so generally if I am doing anything more than gentle exercise I tend to take a preventative immodium. The other thing that cause problems are high residue foods such as lettuce and onions, they can be hard to digest and pass through undigested and cause some diarrhoea. "
