4th week down and I'm pulling my hair out!

Four weeks down and too many left to go! I've never had a semester in my four years of undergrad that I felt like there wasn't enough time in the day to do all of my homework. I'm taking 18 credits which is code word for kiss your social life goodbye. I'm focused on graduating in August and looking forward to this awesome trip to Italy and Greece for my grad present, but the fact that there is so much work to do each day leaves me wanting to shoot myself (figuratively, don't worry). It doesn't help that my roommates are all freshmen who can get by with doing an hour of homework a night so they can party the rest of the time. I, on the other hand am awake hours into the night getting work done after they fall into a "drunk coma". I don't have time management issues; I have which assignment is most important to get done first management issues. I've been skipping classes to finish assignments and turning in other assignments late because I didn't have time to finish them. Hardest semester of my life... anyone else pulling their hair out yet?

And yeah, I'm up all night again trying to finish formal logic assignments to turn in late again.

" i'm taking 18 credits this semester also. it's getting rough now, i thought i could slide by in some of my classes but i can't. but i started trying to de-stress from school work recently. i decided to do only the assignments that were due the next day on one day, if that makes sense. before, i was overextending myself, trying to do all the week's homework in one or two days. but after giving myself a break and doing only the work that is due for the next day i find that i'm a lot less stressed and i have time do things that i want to do, like go out or read. i hope it gets better for you! " Sounds like you have a lot of stuff on your plate! I remember last semester I had to take 7 classes, 4 of them were 2 hour lectures all in the same day, back to back! I didn't know whether I was coming or going. It is good that you don't have time management issues, but just remember that you can't do everything at one time, or even worry about everything at once. Just focus on one thing at a time. Also, make sure you find some time for yourself! There is no way anyone can function if they don't have at least a little bit of fun! Hope everything turns out okay for you, good luck! "

" I feel ya. I'm trying really really hard to graduate by the end of the summer too, so right now I'm taking 19 credits, and also working part time. I only work one day a week now though. I have almost no life, but I do manage some time to at least go out to lunch with friends after class about once a week. Aside from that, that's pretty much it. Just stay focused on the future, and remember this is only temporary. All this hard work will pass, and you'll feel the reward when it's over. You reap what you sew. "
