I know how you feel. I'm don't like being the third wheel either when friends are dating either. For me I'd just rather them go on a date and have their couple's time then at a later time go out w/ them when they are less all over each other. You're definitely not a lone Good Luck :D

i also know how you feel..its not fair sometimes. but if you think about it at least you can focus more on school and later with out knowing it you might find somebody who is unbelievable! i hope everything works out for you

I know exactly how you feel, I'm in the same position. Although in my case, it seems like all my friends are already getting engaged and married, even after only dating for like 2 seconds. I swear I'm going to be the girl on 27 dresses....I'm independent and act like it doesn't bother me, I'm happier single, but I think all us single girls know how it really feels....and it sucks. I've never had a long-term serious relationship, and my best friends are talking about wedding receptions and kids.

Yes, I'm in a similar position. All of my roommate's are freshmen and their first priority on arriving to college was to find a "man". That's really great for them, but I'm a little more choosy when it comes to the person I am sharing my full bed with. It only gets irritating when the neighbor boys ask me where my boyfriend is because they assume we're all stuck of someone else's butt. I just figured if I wanted a boyfriend bad enough I'd date the first guy who is interested in me.

But I agree about the feelings of being the third wheel. When they go out an have "date night" I stay behind; mainly because I have WAY too much homework to do. On the bright side, I met someone kind of awesome that I've been working with in my class... too bad he's a commuter student so our chances of hanging post classtime is slim.

it does suck , my prosition is the only one not in sometype of girlfriend/ boyfriend relationshion or looking for one. I'm fine just haveing friends .even if boys/girls are all they talk about , away from how college kiling their social time.

I have told them how i feel and it dosn't change things, or at least not for me. have you told them you feel like a 3rd wheel? may be they'll be different
