Well my actual FT program starts Aug 3rd. I am a 31 yr old mommy to a 1, 4 and soon to be 6 yr old. I am extremely stressed! I waited so long to start this program but the stress and juggle of the kids has me about to lose my mind.

My mom is suppose to help watch the kids but keeps having different medical things come up and I am scrambling to find alternative care and she keeps saying she can watch them but I start in 6 weeks and feel so uneasy about it all! We have limited family help and due to me being in school lack of funds so this is making it so hard!

I am so stressed and wished I would of did this before I had kids because this is a whole different struggle so anyone with kids whom can relate have any advice?

" Hi,

Sorry to hear about the stress your going through. I hope you can find some relief soon. :) Does the school you are going to go to offer daycare. If so, do they offer tuition assistance for daycare as a part of your financial aid package. The school I went to did and they took kids from 18 mos-6 yrs so they would go to straight to first grade once they were finished w/ on-campus daycare/pre-school

If your school doesn't offer daycare is there an in-home provider that can help since some of them are cheaper than larger facilities. You can also ask if they give a sibling discount for having more than one child enrolled there. Some school daycares offer them too.

Also, is there a local YMCA daycare or a local United Way or 211 that could help you w/ assistance? If there is a YMCA in your area I know some of them offer hardship assistance to families and some daycare fees are based on family income you would just have to ask about it.

Well GOOD LUCK w/ your program! :D "
