i went for an interview on monday and i am gonna call today to see if i got the job. it isnt even permanent, it is temp for the semester. the prob is i want to work at a college so i can have flexibility. every job interview i went to offered flexibility, but when asked about it in the interview, the employer got some excuse about it.

job and school never really worked for me cuz my 1st job wanted to take me away from college and basically wanted to work my ass off. does anyone have any suggestions?

" hmmm maybe if you try working in an office that would be more flexible then say working retail. I'm not sure if talking about flexibility during the interview is a good idea. I believe for most companies that's something that's earned over time. For other companies it depends on your direct supervisor & youll probably have to first build a relationship w/ her & it'll also depend on the demand of the job.

When you apply for a job let them know what hours you're available to work and/or the number of hours you're avaialable to work each week. If you're looking for a full-time job Im not sure how the flexibility thing would work or if it'll be able to work at all.

I also think that you should wait for them to get back to you to inform you about whether or not you got the job.
Good luck in your job search!!!! "
