dan,i know its not easy and the feelings ur feeling come and go for me as well but i hold on ..i realize getting high will not solve anything the only thing it'll do is destroy everything and make everything 100 times worse very quickly..u can fix the feelings of lonliness but if u use it'll be imposibble to fix anything..i suggest u get some support and around some positive people while ur feeling like this and know i've added u to my prayers..if u need to talk message me..u can get threw this im pulling for u!

Dan, I have been absent for a while fron DS but I can racall when you were there for me.
I have u in a pedestal and want to keep u there.
You are a wonderful and humane person, please feel free to vent..

Footprints in the sand-

One night I dreamed I was walking along the beach with the Lord.
Many scenes from my life flashed across the sky.
In each scene I noticed footprints in the sand.
Sometimes there were two sets of footprints,
other times there were one set of footprints.

This bothered me because I noticed
that during the low periods of my life,
when I was suffering from
anguish, sorrow or defeat,
I could see only one set of footprints.

So I said to the Lord,
“You promised me Lord,
that if I followed you,
you would walk with me always.
But I have noticed that during the most trying periods of my life
there have only been one set of footprints in the sand.
Why, when I needed you most, you have not been there for me?”

The Lord replied,
“The times when you have seen only one set of footprints in the sand,
is when I carried you.”

I knew if I came here I would get the Support I need Thank You Everyone I am working on my feelings and staying strong so Far I know I don't want to turn back now I have come to Far for that I'm just having a hard time right now thats all I'll keep on top of it. i am sorry that you are feeling lonely. perhaps you can take an adult ed class, or talk to a therapist.

Last week I felt that same way......Depression was so overwhelming and the lonliness and thoughts of what my life has become but I forced myself to NOT give up, went to church, came on here and PRAYED like crazy. I do feel a little better today. Thank you Jesus! Tina
