Cocaine Addiction & Recovery Support Group

I know that an addict has to hit bottom before he can begin his way up. But I thought he had done that when everyone turned him away and won't help him or feed him or let him park and sleep there etc. And he finally admitted to me and his family and the few close friends he was on drugs. HE SAYS this time he absconded with my van again and was gone a week he hasn't used. That he was working at his brother s, which the call came from there. I can verify but, he doesn't seem to get that this is wrong, aksing for the car to go to his mom's then taking off a week running out all my gas and the 10 I gave him , not calling.
And he doesn't seem to understand that I am mad,hurt and not horney,?
because these hurts,lying to me from day one about the drug use and then taking off again after her promised to be home every night, and
having the nerve to tell me the" sex is lousy anyway"( ha ha This is why he begs me to marry him)
I have considered trying to continue helping him but moving him to another room , not my bed. And making him walk, I already locked up the keys. And he has an appointment the 15th in town for intake ,substance abuse counseling. I told him he had to want to do it cause I can't make him but the random testing and on demand testing would go a long way to rebuilding my trust , which he also doesn't get that can't just "POP" back after what has happenned. They said after He is in the drug program he can come into the mental health program I think he need to find out why he runs and stays running, it's something he's done a long time and has been a source of fustration for his mom, but I don't think it's always been about drugs I also think he uses it to cope, he has been dxed ADHD
