Just got out of rehab. I feel so overwhelmed going to meetings and therapists and trying to work the steps. I'm tired. Doing all the right things is starting to have the opposite effect on me. Is it abad idea to just quit all this therapy and just try to move on with my life?
The first step is admitting you are powerless over the drug and give yourself up to a higher power, but what about finding strength within yourself? Is that possible?

" try to take a deep breath and relax. you may need to just clear your head a little. often times it feels like it would be easier on our own, and it may be for an hour, or a day. but stinking thinking will get you eventually if you cut off your support system. Try not to get overwhelmed with working the steps, you only need to work one step at a time. message me if you want to talk, your issues sound similar to what mine used to be. "

" there's a power i got from working my first step and i want to share it with u..for years and years i was held captive to my disease from failure to accept that there was no way i could safely use and nothing good would ever come of it after a while even the high was not worth the toll on myself..physically,mentally,spiritually,financially etc.etc..that day i became empowered was the day i accepted i was powerless to the drug... and surrender of the drug totally from myself totally lead me to my higher power and spiritual awakening..it wasnt as easy as it sounds but trust me its worth it in the end ..the freedom from it feels so good i couldnt even put it in words..goodluck and take ur time..
