I have been clean and sober for just a year now there are time's that I do smell not bleach but crack in the air or when I'm at work but has not happen in some time now . Even some type's of coffee would smell like it but I think (not sure what other's think) that in time may be it will go away. for the last 4 months it has not happen to me. I hope more of the group will say what they think about this too .

well i have never smelt bleach either but have smelt crack.none lately but there are times when i use things like certain soaps or lotions or perfumes that trigger that smell for me but they're not enough to get a reaction from me.its been 17 or 18 mos now i've really stopped counting since i made up my mind this is a lifelong commitment and i'll stick to my policy ''usings not a option''i say this to myself at any moments of weakness to let me know im not going there period its not worth it.life is to be lived and anythings better than wasting my time,money,and energy on things that are only temporary all my comforts now are lasting ...i wouldnt have it any other way!

I never smelled bleach, but when I first got clean, I used to taste the coke in the back of my throat-I think that's just our minds trying to tempt us! But nothing like that will ever tempt me again All I can say is take it one day at a time and that we can't do it alone, I learned that the hard way. There's nothing wrong with asking for help.

I only smell crack and propane gas.
Its so weird.

honey when i first got clean,and walked around my city, I smelled crack everywhere. I am not sure where the bleach is coming from. but that is probably psychological. Stay clean no matter what.

i think of it as amonia when i smell it but i definetally smell it too all the time using not usuing clean for months i smell it all the time its a big trigger

does coke have a smell to people around the person using? i have often wondered if he smell that comes off my boyfriend when i suspect he did coke is actually, the drug???

i never smelled bleach but i have smelled crack in the air and you dont realize its in everything like ciggerate smoke. I am recently clean but have tried to quit in the past and ive smelled it in my cloths.

What does crack smell like. Sometimes when I come home, I smell something but not sure what it is (in his space in the basement). He has usually sprayed some air freshner or something. My husband is still getting high and I have come to the conclusion that he will die that way and I have to just let him be. In the meantime, I will continue to save money and then leave my house with his @ss in it. Sick of the madness, moodswings and walking on egg shells.
