This is my Nana; a kind relative sent me some old family photos this morning. I have none of her when she was young, although she passed away at just 54 from a heart attack, she was never old. She always had that jet black Cherokee hair. The sweetest person you would ever want to meet. She taught me so many life lessons, too many to count. IT is HOT!!! Went to the bank and got a new card the other one started peeling and so did Russ's. They said it was a bad batch...so got a new one. Went to the Dollar store for paper goods they are much cheaper than the Grocery Store. Then on to Super S.....Got what we needed and then home. Good Morning all you DS Darlin's! If we only had some rain things would be perfect...I awoke to low humidity and 72 degrees! It is so pretty out there. The wind keeps us off the water but, boy would I love to go out and wet a line.

I had a migraine last night. So trying to sleep on ice packs was hard enough, but Russ was up coughing and gasping too. I feel like I was rode hard and put away wet. I hate feeling totally human, grumpy and whiny.

This is my first journaling and i am not quite sure what all to say.
I have Hep. C and am menopausal and I have not slept good for days. I am lucky to get 3-4 hours of sleep at a time, so I am totally exhausted this morning.
On top of my medical issues I am babysitting my best friends 15 year old blind, deaf dog who is as much work as a baby. SO for the next week I see no rest for the weary....1 Recommendation5 Comments -
We had to put my maternal aunt in a home for dementia last week. She is 87 and behaves like a 4 year old. She can`t remember shit and every day is a whole new experience to her. The home is called Autumn Years and is situated in a beautiful bucolic valley about 30 miles inland from Santa Barbara. There are almost as many horses as humans, really nice! Richie has been getting more and more inactive at home, with an almost fainting spell on Sunday. Happened when his mom was there and scared all of us to death. It is sad to learn of the passing of someone's loved one, and it always makes me stop and take a longer, closer look at my situation and my attitude.
I have been so hurt, angry and frustrated so many times on this journey of the past 5 1/2 months, and the expectation that there is yet more to come, but in retrospect, blessed as well.

I am tryin so hard to figure out what good the tx did my husband that he took from sept 08 thru aug 09...now he still has virus and nothing is any better, but the dr tells him to wait and see if any new tx are coming down the pipeline....in july of this year they told him he was virus free...now its back and just sitting and waiting......can't talk to no one about it, but God...and I am soooo...1 Recommendation3 Comments
