  • What an evening....SO funny

    Tuesday, September 9, 2008 | A Funny story

I have thought of this story all day.  Every time I remember the evening I spent with Russ I start laughing.  I hope it does not translate into on of those you had to be there moments.  Yesterday, we actually had a cool evening and the breeze was blowing nice and steady.  I went out on the back patio with Russ while he is feeding the dogs.  It is usually a time of playing...

Well I am worn out writing that twice!!!! So I guess I will rest.  I am fiddling with my clay today.LOL sounds naughty huh?  I tried to shoo Russ out the door and onto the boat, but I think the idea of hauling the anchor up even once is more than his shoulder can take.
Tember's wound is finally draining good. I put warm compresses and neosporin on it all day yesterday and the swellin...

  • Deer Hunting Memories....

    Thursday, October 9, 2008 | A Funny story

Mr. Isacs was a customer of our A/C Company many moons ago.  He had over 150 acres of pristine and unhunted land up off a farm road outside of Magnolia, where we lived for 20 years.  It was full of deer and needed to be culled as they were losing some in the winter from over grazing.  Russ was to manage the property and keep the poachers out.  They had become quite a problem a...

    Tuesday, March 31, 2009 | A Funny story

Why you ask? Maybe it was first time in after all the clicking and clacking and beeping as if we were just hit by nukes, and this little voice said: "How are you Kimberly?" and I answered: "Just fine, Chewy has everything under control." Then I had to hold my breath like, forever, and that lil voice came on again: "You ok Kimberly?" "yea, thank god we made it to...

    Thursday, June 18, 2009 | A Funny story

Well, I don't have liver disease, but wonder, could my ammonia level be up    or am I really getting old?
I had the police at my house this morning, 20 minutes after I arrived at work.  Why?  Because my security alarm was going off.  Oophs!  My fault.  You see, ammonia levels have nothing to do with this, ok, I just had a severe "senior moment."
    I le...

  • Staycation.... Yak feeding and all.

    Thursday, August 13, 2009 | A Funny story

Our family is in the middle of a short staycation, doing things we can do on day trips to save money. Yesterday we traveled up to the Olympic Game Farm and fed some yak, bears, horses, peacocks, deer, elk.
The Yak are the funniest.... when you give them the food they often belch. And the horses would become your best friend once they see the treats, sticking their heads in the car windows.
    Here is ...
