" I'm sure they did suzes. There will always be conflicting view points on what is or isn't the correct thing to do under the circumstances.
I'm not saying my view is right, all I can do is to provide information which enables folks to question their doctors in greater detail and better understand the reasons for their decisions.

KGLA's Jim recently was recommended by his transplant team to take as much high value protein as possible which would support my assertion that protein is good.

But who can say? I'm not a doctor, I just a guy who is trying hard in the hope he never has to face a transplant team! :-)

Craig "

" Dear brorafa,I am sorry to hear about your brother's added diagonis. The best to do I think is to wait and see what the doctor says. Do you go with him? Does he have you on file to be allowed his medical information? Are you,or someone wlse his primary care giver when the time arrives,or is he married? Someimes it's hard to know what is going on if it is second hand(ie.wife or other brothers and sisters)...or even reports of his medical condition from himself,if he wishes to keep it mostly to himself. You may want to ask if to be on file,if you are his closest relative. Good luck, keep us updated. ps if you both will be seeing the doctor together, you both may want to write down any question you may want to ask the doctor. "

" brorafa,I am sorry I missed the information on your postings that he was not married. Discuss you being on the "information" list to be given information and to be able to assist him through this. "
