I got circumcised 10 days ago, for two reasons, one my skin would not retract during erection and i had hard time depositing the semen inside the vagina to acheive pregnancy with the skin unretracted and the doctors suggested that circumcision could solve it and i always wanted to do it.
everything is healed and looks good but there is a slight bulge on the right side where the skin joins the head as if it is like a balloon, my penis is kind of unshaped :-) . reading the forums it sounds like it should go away. But i'm slightly concerned. How long does it normally take to heal after a typical circumcision. I'm 31 years of age. Posted on 05/12/09, 10:05 pm |

I was circumcised on 14/05/09, Mine started out as slight bulging on the left side of the shaft. Then there started to be a yellowish discharge from the Back of the shaft, This then on day 8 blew all the stiches on the Left side of the shaft. I now have a bad infection in the wound, I now have to have dressings applied everyday for the next 3 weeks due to the infection getting into the bulging. I also have to start a third course of antibiotics once i finish my second course.
What i would recommend is if you are concerned about the bulging to visit a doctor to examine the area to check infection has not set into the stiching of the wound.
