Was I Circumcised?

I was born at home in South Texas cowboy country by a country doctor in the thirties. My mother did not tell me whether I had been circumcised.
The circumcision procedure that has been commonly used for many decades was not done on me. I have a foreskin - but it is somewhat short. I could be intact with just a short foreskin. Or, the country doctor might have cut only the tip off of my foreskin soon after birth. Often my foreskin covers only part of my glans, and at times it is back behind the glans even when my penis is completely flaccid. Sometimes it covers the glans and the bottom part - which is longer - will extend out beyond the glans. When my penis is erect, the foreskin is always behind the glans, unless I pull it up over part of the glans. My foreskin is sensitive, with many pleasure recepters in it. The tip which is longer at the bottom is especially pleasurable to the ,touch - but not extremely sensitive. Its possible to orgasm just from rubbing the tip of the foreskin. My glans is not especially sensitive.. My regret is that I don't have a foreskin that is longer, which would taper down at the tip that would tend to hold it over the glans even when erect. With my short foreskin, as I rememer in sexual intercourse, the foreskin does not slide on and off the glans with the inward and outward thrusts. My foreskin always remained behind the glans of my penis when I was having intercourse. The sliding action works for masturbation. The only advantage I can think of for my foreskin in intercourse would be that often the glans is moist from being covered which might make intercourse, especially in a vagina that is a little dry, easier. I have read that in Old Testament times, the Hebrews did not practice the type of circumcision now common, which removes the entire foreskin and forces the foreskin off the baby's glans where it is normally attached. Instead, according to some sources the ancient Hebrews just cut off a small part of the tip of the foreskin. Apparently the foreskin does not have to be forced off the baby's glans in this simple procedure. The foreskin might just be stretched beyond the end of the penis and cut which would be less painful to the baby than the procedure now common. Something similar to this procedure might have happened to me, but I don't know for sure. Posted on 04/23/09, 09:04 am |

It is entirely possible that you had a "bris" circumcision which does leave most of the foreskin, and it is equally possbile that you have a naturally short foreskin. I know that I was not cut and my prepuce barely covers the glans when I'm flaccid and is completely off the glans when I am erect. I have enough slack to jack off with out lube and that's enough. Like the man says we may not always get what we want, but we can ALWAYS enjoy what we got!
