Loss of Feeling

THello everybody. I was circumcised as a young child and have been upset about it ever since. I noticed in puberty that I have almost no sexual feeling at all. Sexual pleasure is almost impossible for me. Can anyone reccomend a way to restore sensation in the glans? I don't want to restore because I am waiting for regenerative medicine to develop.
Thank you all. Posted on 10/03/11, 11:08 am |

You can try ManHood (http://manhood.mb.ca/). I've recently purchased it and while it's high maintenance, it does seem to help bring some sensitivity back by protecting the skin from further friction. I can't guarantee it will improve things that greatly though.

Thanks for the advice, but I don't think that product would work for me. I have a weak bladder, so I usually wear adult diapers during for convinience, so I think the hood would get ruined pretty quickly.

I suppose maybe you can try applying lotion or skin protectants like vaseline jelly. it may not be much, but it's something. I'm not aware of anything that might work for you other than that.
Also, responding to comments you made in your first post, sexual sensation does not directly come from the glans, it plays more of an indirect/mechanical role in sexual satisfaction. The glans is supposed to be pressure, pain, and temperature sensitive, and not particularly light touch sensitive like the inner foreskin, ridged band, and (some have suggested) the frenulum. Also, I read on sexasnatureintendedit.com that sensation also comes from within the penis, from the tip of the corpora cavernosum which lies beneath the glans and is stimulated by pressure. I haven't been able to confirm this claim by another source, but it does make some sense of things for me since I don't have much external sensitivity, but yet still feel some sexual sensation from pressure. Also, you mentioned that you don't want to restore because you're waiting for regenerative medicine to develop. While I think it is scientifically feasible with the technology of stem cells improving, I think it's important that we don't hold our breathes for it. We can all be waiting a very long time for it, and even if it comes, it may not be available to many people. There's still a big problem of funding, and with that, there has to be a demand for the technology to develop. While there are people interested in regaining what they've lost, we are few and far between in the grand scheme of things. So, I don't want to kill your hope, but I think for your own sake, you have to keep your hopes contained to reality, to potentially avoid grave disappointment.

I hear what ur sayin, I wish they had a surgery for it. Women have all kinds of sugery options but not us. My so called g spot is just below my glans in the middle. I cant even masturbate like everyone else, I have to rub that G spot to climax. Hang in there cause people are finally getting smart about sexual mutilation.

I know everyone is saying that I should restore now, butI have to wait for the surgical option because I can't restore with regular methods because it wouldn't be hygenic to wear a stretcher inside my adult diaper.

I'm not saying you should restore, I'm saying you should temper your hopes and expectations about regeneration. It's a very real possibility that this technology may not be available for a very long time.
